Process in detail
1. Box formation
- Box extraction through suction cups and case placement on servo motorised conveyor
- Box formation from carton die with motorised movements controlled through encoder
- Nordson hot melt applicator
- Instant automatic format changeover with motorised movements controlled through encoder
- Memory recipes in PLC ( up to 99 formats with different sizes and designs )
- Installation up to 4 different cases stores of different sizes
- Option to form different types of cases ( pack master, base and cover, trays, twin boxes, etc)
- Production up to 20 cases / min and 35 cases / min ( 1 or 2 heads )
- Case flap folder (pneumatic) and cases ejector (mechanical) to the distribution conveyors
2. Box transport and distribution
- Possibility to transport simultaneously cases of different sizes and types
- Conveyor belts with automatic telescopic adjustment and regulable guides
- Roller or adherent conveyors depending on case weight
- Cases delivery to each load point depending on batch or stock
- Brakes and pneumatic deviators for the correct synchronization of the cases accumulators
- Cases labeling (optional according to each project)
3. Automatic load of the product into the box
Depending on the product to case packing, its position inside the case and the production speed coming from the packaging machine, either one system or the other will be chosen.

4. Box closing machine
- Servo motorised movement of the boxes conveyor belt
- Nordson hot melt glue applicator
- Memory recipes in PLC ( up to 99 formats with different sizes and designs )
- When different production lines are involved, the closing machine knows from which way is coming each box and self regulates according to the programed sizes
- As a consequence of the previous point, the format exchange, controlled by motor with integrated encoder, is done automatically and instantaneously in less than 4 seconds
- Total autonomy of the closing machine. If a breakdown occurs in any of the involved production lines, the closing machine continues working.
- Able to place covers and close trays by installing an additional module
- Production up to 20 boxes / min
5. Boxes palletizing
- Capacity to palletize up to 4 pallets simultaneously using a single robot
- Gripper head designed by TAVIL to seizure different types of carton cases and plastic ones ( logic fruit )
- Automatic configuration of different types of pallets: base pallet, half pallet, in-between layer, and stabilizers drops.
- Memory of different product compositions
