TAVIL Applications
One of the more representative solutions of the TAVIL technology applied to the flexible packages case packing is the connection between several vertical and/or horizontal packaging machines and the TAVIL multiformat line, handling different cases (types and sizes) and loading different products. The whole process made simultaneously and at a different production speeds.
TAVIL equipments can pack several types of flexible packages:
-Stand up pouches for liquid products
-Stand up pouches for powder products
-Stand up pouches for snacks, confectionery and dry fruits
-Flat sachets with or without zipper for grated cheeses, candies etc
-Pillow bags made in vertical machines
-Flow packs
-Bags for frozen foods
-and much more, depending on the customer’s product range
We should not forget the rigid packages where TAVIL has a large experience, using similar technologies:

The large TAVIL experience in handling different types of cases can contribute the development of specific formats that may involve material savings for the customers. CASES APPLICATIONS FOR FLEXIBLE POUCHES
1. PACK MASTER with its variants
• Single body box. Carton surface saving compared to base and cover boxes.
• Less waste of carton when being made if we compare it to a B1 ( American box ). Therefore it is cheaper
• Side flaps glued to the box help to get a higher compression resistance compared to B1 boxes or American boxes
• Great strength compared to the B1 box or American box ( only glue is use to get closed , no adhesive tapes )
• Box designed for the automatic load of products. B1 and American box are designed for the manual loading of products
• Minimum dimensions 200 x 145 x 45 mm. Maximum dimensions 600 x 400 x 360 mm
• Carton quality similar to the one used by the end customer
• Inviolable box that improves too the pallet height and the goods transport
• The variant “ easy strap “ is cheaper than the twin box
2. TWIN BOX or duo box
• Single body box with two different carton qualities, where product is loaded into, in horizontal position and box transported too horizontally.
• When box is in the supermarket, it can be placed vertically for the correct exhibition of the end product.
• No need to use a cutter to open the box. The opening is better than for the easy strap box. Also product and carton damages are avoided due to a wrong cut of the box
• It is more expensive than the packmaster easy strap version but more innovative
LINE APPLICATIONS
1.- Multiformat compact line: for 1 production line
This line is defined to case packing multiple packagings coming from a single production line into multiformat cases ( from the case formation to its palletizing ) according to the attached drawing:
- Multiformat case forming machine
- Multiformat case distribution
- Automatic load of products through pick and place anthropomorphic robot and /or automatic load of products through artificial vision robot
- Multiformat case closing machine
- Palletizing cell
2.- Multiformat: for several production lines simultaneously
This line is defined to case packing multiple packagings coming from several production lines into multiformat cases ( from the case formation to its palletizing ) , according to the attached diagram:
