Machine range


A most common Cloud high-speed pouch line can be viewed as consisting of three distinct modules or sections. The first section is the Pouch Machine itself (called as well Primary equipment); this would also include the automatic splicer. The pouch machine utilizing continuous motion, forms the film or web into a pouch, fills the pouch and finally, seals the pouch.

 


The Cumulus system is considered the second module or section (called as well secondary equipment). The Cumulus provides the necessary accumulation to achieve the highest levels of production efficiency. In addition, the Cumulus along with powered transfer wheels, provide the ability to introduce directional changes to the packaging line. This feature alone gives Cloud the ability to tailor the pouching line to match existing production floor space.

 

 

Cloud’s rotary remote knife represents the third module or section (called as well secondary equipment) to the system. Cloud’s innovative approach to Knife design has allowed Cloud to place finished pouches directly into article buckets of a cartoner. It is this innovative approach to machine design that allows us to interface with a wide variety of cartoning equipment.
